Landen almost 1 year in his swing...he doesn't fit in it and hasn't been in it for 7 months or so but he wanted in there when we got it out of the attic!

We have a toddler...and WERE MOVING HOME!

So where did this little man come from? How did time pass so quickly? We have a toddler on our hands these days!

He walking, talking, dancing and making our day with his beautiful smile!


He repeats just about everything we say. The other day he was playing with Tyler's alarm clock and I said "no no Landen, that's Daddy's clock" and he said "daddy's clock." Then he kept saying it over and over. He has such a cute little voice too! If music comes on, he is bouncing up and down dancing away! Tyler and I are very silly with him and dance along, its quite amusing! He is also saying thank you, snack, drink, boots, ewww, and a few others we can't think of right now.


Were moving home!!! Tyler found out the he got the job the other day, were soooo excited! TMO will be moving us (the military movers, they will move you up to 180 days of getting out. Tyler found out he got the job on the 180th day..how did we get so lucky?) Anyways, they are coming to move us on February 16th and 17th. Tylers last day is going to be around the 23rd or so. We will just have to sleep on the air mattress for a few days.


Were having Landen's Birthday Party on the 30th of January with all of our friends down here. It will be small but a great time I'm sure!

Big Week...10 & a half Months Young!

So this week has been very eventful! Landen cut his first tooth on Monday, learned to say Uh-Oh...and took 12 steps by himself! He is babbling more and more everyday and actually say quite a few things. Right now, his vocabulary includes:
Dada - First Word around 8 months
Mama- Just started saying it about a week ago
Duck - Learned this in the bath 2 weeks ago with Daddy
Bird - He loves to watch the birds, he's actually a little OBSESSED!
Uh-Oh - He just started saying this the other day, he never says it at the correct time, Like when I was whistling in Target today, he kept saying Uh-oh...lol!

He has also learned to point his little finger...its the cutest thing in the whole wide world. He is pointing to everything he wants to touch and I say what it is. So he's definitely getting the walking thing down pretty good. He took 12 steps today in a row with no assistance!!! He always looks so proud because I always praise him when he takes lots of steps...I clap and say great job buddy...then he makes a loud noise and attempts to clap his hands...He's getting better at clapping!

We will be headed to WV next Friday (the 18th) and will be there until the 28th or so. It seems like we were just there for Thanksgiving, but Im totally fine with that. Ive just been so busy decorating for Christmas, Christmas shopping, Christmas sewing, cleaning, cooking, running errands and all the other things we do...its just went by so fast! Im hoping to get a little bit of snow! It actually snowed when we were up for Thanksgiving...it was awesome! I promise I'll be putting up some pictures...I keep forgetting the camera in Landens room (I leave it in there during the day so I can just snap pictures real quick if I need to) and then he's in bed when I feel like working on the blog. I'll get them up in the morning!

The Holidays are coming and going!

So we made our trip to WV for thanksgiving and it was a great time! Landen and I did a lot of visiting and Tyler (and Ralph) worked on the house in Oak Hill (the house were eventually going to live in when we move back home) They got a lot done and will be doing even more around Christmas time. I unfortunately didn't take as many pictures as I wanted but I will post the few that I did take. Its mostly just of the babies (Landen, Ava and Scarlett) we got to spend lots of time with them and it was great watching them play together! Landen sure is moving these days. He is standing unassisted and taking 4-6 steps on his own. He acts like he's already mastered walking because he will just stand up out of the blue and start taking steps. One day he really is going to just take off. He's saying a little more, he said Mama for the first time while in WV. He points to things with his pointer finger, its so cute! Before we know it, we will be having his first b-day!

Tyler has been busy lately, he had a job interview in WV and he says that he is very positive about it. Hopefully we will be moving home at the first of the year sometime! Were totally excited about moving back, we just have to get the house ready to move into. Hopefully at Christmas we will get lots of help and we can get everything or most everything done! Im aiming to have Landens 1st B-day back home!! I guess we will also getting this house ready to sell when we find out about this job. Its so exciting but at the same time, very scary and a little sad. This is our first house and where our lives have been for almost 3 years. Its really been great so I will have a sad place in my heart! I will also be more excited about moving home and being there with family and friends!
